6 months, 2 hearings and 2 subpoenas later, the Committee has finally received the missing documents relating to the peer review of the Gold King mine spill from the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR). One email revealed that the Department of the Interior (DOI) purposefully sat on these emails, and another ativan online visa that senior DOI leadership knew within 48 hours of the blowout that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intentionally dug out the plug. This information contradicts EPA’s and DOI’s account of the events leading up to the spill, both of whom called the disaster an “accident” and “unavoidable.”
