2026 Utah Outdoor Recreation Summit

Access / Land Use Cedar City, Utah September 8–9

Utah's Division of Outdoor Recreation brings together land managers, advocates, nonprofit leaders, businesses, and recreation users for field activities—including a guided OHV ride—and discussions about access, cooperative management, volunteerism, and sustainable outdoor recreation.

Sep 11–13 Guided Ride

Duck Creek SXS Adventure

SXS / UTV Duck Creek Village, Utah September 11–13

Two days of guided SXS rides through the Dixie National Forest, with 50-plus-mile routes, a driver meeting, group dinner, raffle, and community activities. Registration closes August 30; review vehicle, equipment, and radio requirements with the host.

Arapeen OHV Trail System Revival Project

Trail Stewardship Arapeen OHV Trail System September 12

Volunteer with the onX Offroad Trail Revival Project to install new signs and information kiosks at key trail junctions, helping riders stay informed while supporting responsible access.

17th Annual CruiserFest

4x4 Community Salt Lake City, Utah Doors Open 8:00 AM

The Land Cruiser Heritage Museum's annual fundraiser features speakers, guided museum tours, workshops, drawings, and a Show-N-Shine. Proceeds support preservation and public access to the museum's Land Cruiser collection.

Sep 14–18 Jamboree

Rocky Mountain ATV/UTV Jamboree

ATV / UTV Richfield, Utah September 14–18

A multi-day off-road gathering with organized rides on the Paiute and Gooseberry trail systems. The organizer publishes ride ratings, machine-width limits, trailering notes, and safety requirements for participants.

Sep 23–26 Rally

One Swell Ride UTV Rally

Guided UTV Rides Castle Dale, Utah September 23–26

Three days of guided rides from a Castle Dale basecamp, with routes in the San Rafael Swell and nearby mountains for multiple skill levels. Registration, ride selection, meals, and camping are handled through the organizer.

Public Lands Day at the San Rafael Swell

Stewardship Education San Rafael Swell 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

Connect with Utah Cultural Site Stewardship staff and volunteer stewards to learn about local history, rock art, and site protection. Ambassador station locations are still being finalized, so check the state event page before traveling.

Trail Hero

Full-Size 4x4 / Rock Sports Hurricane, Utah September 28–October 3

A major southern Utah off-road gathering with organized trail rides, rock-crawling and motorsports events, a vendor show, camping, and community programming. Confirm trail ratings, vehicle requirements, registration, and Sand Mountain access details before attending.
